Application Support Analyst | CRM, SQL | Arts Institution | 12-18 month FTC

A well-known London institution is looking for an application support specialist based in South Kensington. You will be responsible for supporting our multiple applications for our client but the primary application you will be looking after is MS Dynamics which is integral to our client's processes and integrated to their systems. It is not essential that you have MS Dynamics experience but will be essential for you to take ownership of the CRM. There is a team of 25 in IT looking after 1300 users.

Our client uses a variety of applications and handles a lot of customer data so the there is a lot of stimulating duties for you here! Your duties will involve maintenance, administration, and second and third line support. You will work closely with the Service Desk to provide second and third line operational support to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT application-related incidents and service requests.

You will also support the process of impact assessing and planning IT application changes, and will then implement, test and monitor required changes in line with agreed change plans.
Here are some of the applications you will be looking after:

  • MS Dynamics (integrated with Gateway and Silverbear)
  • Gateway, "Galaxy". This is our client's events and ticketing system. The application received bookings via the phone selling tickets, tills, internal and external. Locally hosted application.
  • Horizon - library management system
  • Contact expert - telephony solution, Skype for business (front end)
  • Other bespoke applications and systems

Here are some more duties in your role:

  • Upgrading all the PCs in the booking offices with appropriate applications
  • Citrix - experience nice to have, if not you will learn in this role
  • SQL - experience nice to have, if not you will learn in this role
  • Internal service desk ITSM - support works
  • Project work

This is a very varied role and there will be training provided as it will not be expected that you will have experience with all the listed applications. It is essential that you have a demonstrable experience of CRM systems
