SCCM Analyst | Famous London Institution | £45k+ pa.

A world-renowned arts institution based in South Kensington is looking for an SCCM Analyst. You will be joining an IT department of circa 35 staff. As well as managing all aspects of the SCCM environment and associated add-ins, the role will also include general infrastructure support of the Microsoft Windows estate

Core skills needed:

  • SCCM
  • Manage Engine Patch Connect Plus
  • Windows Server and Desktop Administration
  • VMWare
  • Active Directory
  • PowerShell
  • Citrix XenApp 7.15 - very beneficial but not essential you have Citrix experience

Core Technical Environment:

  • 200 servers - all virtual (VMWare)
  • Running Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 - Moving to 2016 and 2019
  • 90% of the role involves server work
  • Cloud: Office 365 and Sharepoint aspects
  • SCCM
  • Good knowledge of Windows server, Windows desktop technologies & Active Directory
  • Previous use of ITSM tools and understanding of ITIL processes

Experience of technology product knowledge and skills include:

  • System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Managing 3rd party SCCM support company.
  • Managing, testing and deployment of Windows 10 images as they are released.
  • Regular driver updates to the standard image and workstations as they are released.
  • Storage technologies
  • Networking technologies
  • Apple technologies
  • Experience using an ITSM tool
  • Proven experience performing a similar role
  • Good understanding of ITIL service management processes
  • Skilled in IT problem diagnosis and resolution
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Experience of operating with a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage input from others to ensure delivery to agreed timescales
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
  • Experience of working with third parties
  • Ability to work as part of an effective and highly skilled team

Desirable:

  • ITIL v3 foundation qualified.
  • Experience of project management.
  • Commercially and contractually astute.
