DevOps / SRE Engineer - AWS & Terraform - Cool Brand!

Really cool company here in fantastic office (when we are able to get back to them properly!) Great opportunity here to join a 300 strong UK based firm that are a recognised name across the country in the digital/publishing space. Our client is going through a re-launch of their web and mobile application that involves re-platforming the Cloud and DevOps systems. Future projects on the road map are A.I. and big data programmes too.

You will be working in a team of circa 5 SRE/DevOps engineers in a team that will be growing to x5 engineers by the end of 2020. The development team is predominantly based in Eastern Europe.

Technical stack:

• AWS - everything as a service
• Terraform / CloudFormation
• ECS or Lambda
• AWS environment has 30 services running that will scale using autoscaling
• Our client has a large AWS environment with an annual spend of $1M>

Some essentials

• Experience of hands experience implementing DevOps practices at scale
• Experience working in a Linux
• Experience with GitLab/Jenkins and/or other CI technology
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art monitoring technology and techniques
• Experience working with Restful APIs

This is a real AWS oriented environment where AWS technology is used at the base layer in conjunction with Terraform and Jenkins.
