With offices across the world and over 500 employees in the business, they are a truly global and recognised brand in the financial sphere.

This is a head of position where you will be covering all requirements and projects and programmes in the business (not just IT) key duties will be:

  • Having a firm grasp of the Financial Services sector ideally in a medium sized (agile) FS business, as opposed to one of the major banks
  • Establish a Programme Management office from scratch, ultimately building a team
  • This is a business focused role as opposed to a purely technical Programme role but our client are going through a huge technical transformation so a lot of project will be technology focused
  • You will be reporting the to the COO and work with a variety of MDs and CEOs across the business. You will also need to be able to present to the board
  • Manage global regions across North & South America, and European locations

The role will involve overseeing a variety of large-scale projects from launch to completion; liaising with stakeholders, devising and outlining detailed plans, and ensuring the overall application of projects in the smoothest possible way.

What they are looking for:

  • Significant experience managing large scale transformation programmes
  • Extensive understanding of Programme Management Offices (PMO's) and their services including risk management, planning, reporting and change control.
  • Hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification such as Prince2, Six Sigma, AGILE etc would be highly advantageous
  • Have advanced skills with Microsoft packages (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) or equivalent.
  • Solution-focused approach and the ability to make objective decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent at building relationships at all levels and influencing a range of senior stakeholders, challenging decision making to help drive continuous improvements.
  • Ability the ability to breakdown complex information to suit target audience.
  • Resilient to change, adapting to and supporting new situations with confidence.

Benefits:

  • 26 days holiday per year, plus the normal public holidays
  • 10% bonus (discretionary)
  • Life Assurance
  • Free breakfast when working in the office
  • Private medical insurance once probation period passed
  • 4% pension company contribution
  • Plus, much more!

This a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role in a greenfield environment with multiple big, innovative projects at an international business with a well-known name in the financial space. If this sounds like the role for you, please apply and I'll be in touch!
