DevOps Engineer | AWS, Containerisation | Ultra Growth Scale-Up2| Remote first Company

I am working with a fast growing and award-winning mobile development company who are looking to hire a mid-level DevOps Engineer, preferably with a background in Software Development. My client currently has 70 people in the business, and they are looking to double their headcount in the next year. They are also a remote first company, however they do have an office in Aldgate.

*You can be 100% remote anywhere in the UK for this role if you want*

The right candidate will be experienced in building and scaling services in a public cloud environment and will work across technology teams to automate infrastructure and implement DevOps best practices - including configuration management and continuous integration/development.

Responsibilities:

Scaling AWS Infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer

Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines

Working with containerisation technologies

Developing monitoring systems

Key Skills:

2/3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer

Public cloud experience (AWS or GCP)

Knowledge of IaC (Terraform)

Containerisation experience (Docker & Kubernetes)

CI/CD experience (Jenkins etc.)

General scripting knowledge (Python, Bash etc.)

Understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Bonus Skills:

Experience using automation tools such as Ansible

Experience maintaining and deploying Elasticsearch
