Urgent Contract! In this role you will be coming in to manage and support an existing Azure Kubernetes AKS environment along with helping with a migration of a newly acquired AWS eco-system into the Azure 'mothership'. We have a new and exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing and global SaaS company, whose highly innovative platform powers businesses in the hospitality sector to productively manage their operations. They are undergoing an impressive and exciting period in their timeline; with multiple M&As taking place, a new ATS bought, and the creation of their own banking FinTech payments system. They employ 1200 people globally and their SaaS applications are used heavily in the hospitality industry across the USA, Europe and Asia.

Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer / SRE to support their team in London, to assist in mapping, documenting, and creating tooling, instrumentation, and automation to ensure the creation of scalable infrastructure. This position is suitable for an experienced engineer who has prior experience in infrastructure cloud design, build and configuration. Also ideal for this role is experience with at least one development language.

You will be working in a team of 5 DevOps engineers in a 'horizontal' team that looks after the Development Team Scrums - circa 25 teams amounting to 100s of developers.

Our client's tech stack is unusual as it's very much open source and containerised but it's sitting in Azure and running Kubernetes in production (AKS).

• Azure - Essential for success in the role
• CI/CD (Our client use jenkins but others are ok)
• Programming/Development experience ideally any language is ok but will be important you have some appreciation of code
• IaC (Terraform)
• Configuration Management (Chef)
• Public Cloud (Azure & AWS)

• Octopus Deploy
• Containerisation (Docker & Kubernetes)
