We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work with a fast-growing engineering team whose uses their own platform for their own hospitality businesses. They are undergoing an impressive and exciting period in their timeline

It is an integral role within their talented team of self-starters and will have ownership of building development environments, scripting deployments, automating manual tasks, and supporting and maintaining systems. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking mentality, with the ability to work strategically in a leadership capacity, whist remaining hands-on with the delivery of the web and data platforms.

This is an influential role in our client Tech team and they're looking for an experienced individual who relishes the chance to challenge themselves with a fast-paced and progressive tech environment. There will be plenty of progression on offer as they look to double the size of the team.

Essential Skills for this role:

• Strong and extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services
• Experienced using of Kubernetes, Docker & Terraform
• Preferred experience of Kong, Prometheus & LinkerD and general knowledge of SQL
• Scripting and automation
• Continuous integration and testing (Continuous Delivery) - Github actions and Drone

Nice to have:

• Linux and some knowledge of general operating environments
• Ability to help grow and manage a new infrastructure and DevOps team
• Ability to run incident management analysis
• Self-managing with the ability to keep stakeholders involved and updated
